In the ARC workshop today this Airstream Safari is nearly finished and ready to go – we’re just getting to the end of a few projects now with a bunch of exciting new ones ready to start.
One of the great things about an Airstream is that you can use it for anything – not just travelling but also as a static installation in your garden to be used as an office, spare room or a space for entertaining – and as it’s a temporary structure you don’ actually need planning permission…

This Airstream Safari is all polished and shiny (above) – ready for summer. Inside you can see the new seating structure and TV (below). And as one project nears completion – a new one begins! In the workshop today, the floor of the 1956 Airstream Safari is finished, with underfloor heating installed and insulated wheel arches, all ready for the next phase of the restoration.
In the workshop today – we have some parts going out to customers. these two windows from our parts department are going to the owner of a 1973 Ambassador. We have an online shop selling new Airstream parts and accessories and also have lots of vintage parts in stock – too many to list individually….
