Will 2014 be the year you start your Airstream Project?
Happy New Year to all of our avid blog readers and as we haven’t managed to take any snaps in the workshop this week here’s a little recap of some of the Airstreams we have for sale on our website – we’ve got three beauties here from 1978, 1970 and 1947 all ready for the ARC treatment – you could have one for deluxe camping, your own static garden hideaway or office (they don’t need planning permission) or as a fabulous bar, catering unit or mobile corporate entertainment suite, the possibilities are endless!
1978 Airstream Argosy
This unusual little 22ft beauty is not your usual shiny silver colour Airstream – she’s painted white! In excellent condition throughout and only 7ft wide so easy to tow down those UK country lanes!
This Airstream is just £18,500 Plus VAT – there are more pictures on our For Sale Page so please take a look!
1970 Airstream Overlander
This Airstream is a little longer, and a bit cheaper – ideal for a corporate or catering project this 27ft Airstream has new tyres, has been completely resealed, has a new toilet and new power front jack. It costs just £13,800 with no VAT and the price includes all haulage, shipping and import charges.
1947 Airstream Liner
One for the vintage connoisseur! This Airstream is EXTREMELY rare and was built by Airstream founder, Wally Byam, himself. In late 1946, Curtis Wright and Wally Byam together started production of a travel trailer based on Wally’s Airstream Clipper. After some months they split into the Wallace Manufacturing Company and Curtis Wright Travel Trailers. The first 2 dozen Liners carry plates that say “Airstream Built by Wallace M. Byam”. It wasn’t until the next year that the Airstream Trailers corporation was founded. If you want to know the price on this one you’ll have to give us a call.
