In the ARC workshop today – these drawers are from an Airstream Safari which was one of our first deluxe projects. This Airstream went off to live in Holland at the ‘Inn on the Lake’ and now we’re refurbishing the drawers and cabinet doors – here you can see Richard preparing to edge the drawer and door fronts and a detail of the drawer fronts with the protective film drawn back.
Sticking with drawers, these old drawers have also come out of a recently refurbished Airstream and are waiting for a new retro home.
In the workshop today – we have some parts going out to customers. these two windows from our parts department are going to the owner of a 1973 Ambassador.
We have an online shop selling new Airstream parts and accessories and also have lots of vintage parts in stock – too many to list individually. So if you’re after something in particular, like these beautiful Safari teardrop lights, then get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
In the workshop today we’ve got a lot of window frames here – so if you’re looking for vintage Airstream parts be sure to check out our online shop.
Elsewhere we’re starting to amass a few interesting number plates too – only 45 states left to get for our collection!

Here are some photos of a vintage 1950’s Whale Tail Airstream that we are working on. Teak wood veneers and a mint green 50’s Smeg oven really work well in this retro feel Airstream.
The client wanted us to use vintage parts where ever possible so we have fitted original hinges and catches.
Here a new panel and new original window are being fitted to an Airstream Overlander Whaletail. Above is a before picture – and below is the after.
